Born in grenoble, Philippe lives in a musical atmosphere since his mother is a singer and his father, a drummer. For two years, he learns in technimusic the theory and practice of the drums, then joins the band Kassinga , a mix of eastern, latino and jamaican music. He performed many concerts with Triolinoa, a brazilian band. In 2001, he recorded a hip hop album with some artists from grenoble, then toured in France with musicians from grenoble, lyon and paris.

In 2001, he joins Gnawa Diffusion.
