Born in Alger. He starts music with string instruments at the age of 8: mandoline, banjo, mandole, guitar...
His virtuosity at the mandole grows better when he works with the master of chaabi, Amer Ezzahi. He grows very gifted on this instrument which is very present in the chaabi music. He arrives in Paris in 94 and plays in different bands for weddings or village fests. Also he is invited to many album recordings: Alabina, chico et les gypsies, idir, safy boutella...
Amazigh asked him to play on the album Bab el oued kingston. He joins Gnawa Diffussion in 99.
